The Drew Minicourse series is jointly sponsored by Drew University’s Caspersen School of Graduate Studies and the Friends of the Madison Public Library. All courses are offered for five weeks, and each class lasts for two hours. Classes are frequently fully subscribed for this very popular program of short, non-credit courses, and fill up quickly, so early registration is always recommended.
The courses are intended to be suitable for the general public and have no pre-requisites. However, they are taught at a level consistent with Drew University’s outstanding academic reputation. The faculty members are chosen for both their scholarship and their ability as lecturers. There are no exams, grades, or required reading, although reading lists are provided. Students come from a wide area in Northern New Jersey.
The courses are given in the Chase Room of the Madison Public Library. Parking is convenient, and the classroom is fully accessible. For further information about the Drew Minicourse offerings, and/or to complete the registration form, go to www.drewminicourses.org or call 973-408-3118.
