Save the Date for the Home + Garden Tour

The Friends of the Madison Public Library’s singular goal is to strengthen our community by funding the programs and offerings of the Library including the popular Summer Reading Program which reaches more than 600 children in Madison every year as well as the new digital Museum Pass Program that enables Madisonians to visit 14 museums in the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area for FREE –  with a library card.

The Friends have been hard at work dreaming up a fun, new way to support the Library by initiating a Home and Garden Tour, a great opportunity to visit neighborhoods and enjoy the diversity of our town, just recently hailed as one of New Jersey’s “most charming small towns.”  In partnership with the Madison Environmental Commission, the rain or shine tour on Sunday, September 10th between 12-4 pm, will highlight homes and gardens with a variety of distinctive designs, environmental and architectural features.

Adults advance tickets purchases are $50 each; the day of the tour the cost is $55 per person. Proceeds from this tour will by used by the Friends, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization of volunteers, to provide funds for the Library.

Our tour partner, the Madison Environmental Commission, collaborates with the mayor and Council in the areas of conservation and environmental protection.
